It appears the newly constructed barn at The French Laundry Gardens, which has a concrete poured foundation and electrical, did not pull permits for the construction, and now the Town has received plans.
Latke Throw Down at Bardessono
The 1st annual Latke Throw Down was a hoot. Hosted by the engaging Judd Finkelstein, I learned a lot of history and tasted some great latkes. Latke making competitors were Executive Chef Jim Leiken of Bardessono, local Devereaux Smith, Itamar Abramovitch, and Shane Soldinger.

Water years begin every October 1st and end September 30th of the following year. Yountville’s Mean Average Precipitation is historically 29.21 Inches per year. Using the Napa One Rain Gauge located on Hopper Creek at SR 29, Yountville’s Mean Average Precipitation for the last 2-years was only 13.26 inches. For the last 5-years, it was only 27.35 inches,

At the last Town Council meeting, the Town of Yountville voted to update its ordinance to be in compliance with new recycling laws mandated by the State.

The most significant month of TOT ever collected happened in September 2021 as the Town of Yountville received $1,126,713 in bed tax.
