Wreaths Across America returns this year to honor our Veterans, and The Yountvillian has sponsored ten wreaths to show our support, and you can learn more about how you can support this cause. The official ceremony takes place on December 18, at 9 am. Join the community in honoring the fallen heroes at The Yountville Memorial Grove Cemetery. With your help, we can lay wreaths at hundreds of more headstones at the Yountville Veterans Memorial Grove Cemetery this holiday season.
Wreaths Across America is a winter holiday wreath-laying ceremony that honors the service and sacrifice of U.S. veterans across the country. The holiday wreath symbolizes rebirth and renewal. On December 18, 2021, at 09:00 am, Wreaths Across America will be at Yountville Veterans Home to remember and honor our veterans through the laying of remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each veteran aloud
The Yountville Memorial Grove Cemetery is expanding its wreath-laying operation this year by covering even more graves. Hundreds of wreaths are already ordered, and more donations are allowing more graves to be covered. Though we’re already close, we still need more wreaths to cover all 6000 graves in the cemetery.
