Due to this past weekend’s weather, the Washington Street Rehabilitation project has a new timeline:
- Work will be on hold until November 8th.
- November 8th to 12th: The contractor will grind the roadway and perform spot repairs Monday 8th & Tuesday 9th, place leveling course Wednesday 10th, and pave the street Thursday 11th & Friday 12th.
- November 15th to November 24th: The contractor will raise the utility lids, place lane striping, and stamp the crosswalks. The crosswalk stamping work is time-sensitive and if necessary, may be paused during the Thanksgiving holidays and resume to the week of November 29th.
- This schedule is intended to accommodate the challenges with rainy weather while still delivering a quality paving project for our Washington Street.
