Strong Town Management? Yep, and it Continues

The Town of Yountville applied for and received a Regional Early Action Planning grant award from the Department of Housing and Community Development for $20,000. The Town of Yountville will use this towards the Town’s housing element update. This is in addition to the $60,000 Local Early Action Planning grant award secured by Staff earlier this year; both will be used towards the housing element update. This is for the Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA), which is updated and mandated by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). Check out the details for RHNA and the how and why.

Also, this: estimated costs for the Town Community Center being used as a COVID-19 testing site and immunization clinic has been sent to a CalOES representative for review. The hope is that the Town may be eligible for reimbursement from FEMA.
