Napa Valley Expo Has a New Chief Operating Officer

The Board of Directors of the Napa Valley Expo voted unanimously to hire Corey Oakley as Chief Operating Officer. He will be assuming the position following current CEO Joe Anderson’s retirement starting on or around August 16th.

Corey is an extensive history in the events, fairs, and entertainment business. He was Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for Helm & Sons Amusements, the carnival operator for the Napa Town & Country Fair.

“Corey’s experience with fairs and entertainment production, especially for years with the Napa Expo and Town & Country Fair, make him the right person to continue the leadership Joe has provided for decades,” said Board President Jeri Hansen. “Corey has practical and operational experience, as well as a vision for how the Napa Expo can continue to evolve as an event and gathering place for the entire Napa Valley community.”

Corey is familiar with the Expo property and operations and the Napa Valley community and will be working closely with retiring CEO Joe Anderson over the next several months to provide a seamless transition.
