As you know by reading The Yountvillian, the Town has faired pretty well financially this past fiscal year, and the good news just keeps on coming!
The Town reported $312,141 in sales tax revenue for the second quarter of 2021, closing out the past fiscal year’s sales tax collections. This new figure brings the total tax collection to about $1,139,000, which is higher than the adjusted budget of $987,000 and a bit higher than the original budget of $1,087,000.
Who couldn’t use an extra $50,000? This is great news for the General Fund.
