Arts Commission: Meeting Notes — July 12

Who was the most active group in Yountville during the fiscal year July 2020/July 2021 with COVID hovering over us? It was the Yountville Arts Commission who sold over $110,000 in art sales! Just amazing, and as a result, the Arts Commission transferred over $26,000 to the Arts Fund with the Yountville Community Foundation. Additionally, the 1% fee from commercial development that pays into Art Fund was $63,075. It was then announced that Sweet Jack (the bunny in the French Laundry Garden pocket park) had been sold!

Art, Sip, and Stroll 2020 update and survey showed a great success from both the artists and attendees. 53 artist booths, 15 wineries, 600 tasting packages (sold out) and even a slight positive dollar amount left over at the ned of the day.

Another eventful, productive, positive Arts Commission meeting. Nice to see people in our community so engaged and interested in their hometown. Thanks to all.
