The Yountville Community Church on Yount Street called for its fire inspections on Friday and has a final building permit inspection scheduled for Monday, yesterday. If all goes well, they will have completed the project and will get their certificate of occupancy and resume use of the church and facilities after several years of renovation.
The church has opened up its outdoor space to include the church offices at the corner of Yount and Webber. It is obvious that they plan to utilize much more of the outdoor space as a part of this “new” church. Events? Weddings? Fundraisers? Be sure to pay attention to the discussion for what the allowable uses will be for private events and outdoor parties. How many? How often? There are only eight parking spaces at the church. This will definitely need to be discussed for the Town Council and the Use Permit attached to the property.
