The Town of Yountville has appointed Kirsty Shelton as the new Public and Building Director to step in after Sandra Liston’s departure. With 20 years of experience as an assistant planner, Shelton is an experienced planner with extensive public and private expertise in master planning, sustainable development, land use, and urban design.
A certified American Institute Certified Planner (AICP) from the American Planning Association, a LEED-AP expert in sustainable energy systems and real estate development from the University of California Davis, she’s well-versed in environmental planning. Her experience in state and local government operations and urban design, coupled with her passion for servicing public sector clients, is a great addition to the town.
