The Town of Yountville invites you to join the next in-person (yes, you read that right) discussion on the Housing Element on March 2nd, at 6 pm. Taking place at Community Hall, there will be a discussion of housing needs in our community and how to improve housing programs for the town’s 2023–2031 housing element update.
Yountville’s Housing Element of the General Plan must be updated every eight years, as required by State law. The element must be reviewed and certified by the State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). The 6th cycle update must be adopted by January 31, 2023.
Housing policies and initiatives are included in the Town’s housing element. Housing is one of the eight required aspects of the General Plan and details how the Town intends to address all economic groups’ existing and future housing demands in the community.
