JCB In Calistoga

I read in NapaLife that JCB wants to open Depot Provisions in Calistoga, which would be a gourmet grocery offering cheese, charcuterie, high-end food selections, and roughly 150 different wines. It will be modeled after Oakville Grocery and will carry wine and gift items along with fresh food offerings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sound familiar? Pretty much what he closed here months back. I hope we hear the town and Council speaking about the Economic Recovery Program here in Yountville and not continue to push it off as a “pilot program,” or let’s wait to see what the new year brings. The new year is here, and the pilot has been flying for some time now, and too many of the seats are empty.
