Ask for Forgiveness Instead of Permission – #2

The barn currently sits with un-planned addition – a red tag. This means all construction and work must stop until the proper permits are obtained.  According to the Town, they submitted plans two weeks ago. The Planning Director, Kirsty Shelton,met with their landscaper today and shared the additional items they need to complete their building permit request.  She expects they will resubmit with the additional plans at the beginning of the year and should be ready to issue the permit and then start the inspection process. They are not allowed to use the barn in any way until the final inspection and a certificate of occupancy is issued.
