The Town of Yountville Parks & Recreation Master Plan process is in full swing! This Master Plan will evaluate community needs, document the history, and assess the current conditions of the Town’s parks and recreation facilities and programs. The final plan is intended to provide a road map that will guide decision-making to improve, maintain and manage our parks, open spaces, paths and trails, facilities, and recreation programs for the next ten years.
The plan will include information on our existing park and recreation facilities and programs. It will draw on extensive community engagement to identify areas for expansion, improvement, and protection for the future. It will also establish priorities and potential funding opportunities.
They need your input! Take a few minutes to complete the online survey. Access the survey which will be open through June 10, 2022. Paper surveys are also available at the Yountville Community Center at 6516 Washington Street. The Town wants to hear from current users of the parks, facilities, and services and non-users!
Please also mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 13. The Parks and Rec department will be hosting a public meeting to gather even more input and information. The meeting will begin at 5:30 PM at the Community Hall.
