Yountville Cleanup Day

It’s back, paid for by the Town of Yountville. For all residential customers of Upper Valley Disposal & Recycling (UVDS), which is all of us because we have to have garbage service in Yountville. UVDS will begin picking up items on Saturday, May 15, at 7 am. If you can put the items out on Friday evening, there will be those driving around Town looking for the treasure in your junk, keeping some items out of the landfill. This is general waste and not the regular garbage items that belong in your brown, blue, or green bin. So general waste, e-waste, and appliances. There is a 2 cubic yard limit per household, and give UVDS a call if you have larger items like tires and appliances. A fee will apply for larger items, but hey, they are picking it up for you.
