Last Friday, the Memory of Tree Underpass Mural was power washed in preparation for some touch-ups. The metal doors will be primed, and then the artists, Hennessey Christophel and Sofia Lacin will return for a few days the following week to repaint those doors to match the mural again. Caltrans added the metal doors to the walls after the mural had been completed.
The Yountville Arts are funding the maintenance of this beloved town mural.
