This past week, Mr. Monopoly paid a visit to Napa to announce the newest edition of the long-time loved (and loathed) board game. That’s right — come fall this year, Toy Trumps will be releasing a Napa Valley edition of the game Monopoly.
At a news conference at the Visit Napa Valley welcome center, Jennifer Tripsea of Top Trumps Inc. explained that local companies, nonprofits, places of interest, and other “icons” will be solicited to “buy” squares and be featured on the game board. Giving a whole new meaning to the saying, “Pay to Play”, the costs to be included on the board game have not been announced.
