Last Chance for 2020 Wildfire Relief

Final call for victims of the 2020 Wildfires — Napa County residents whose homes were damaged or destroyed by the LNU Complex and Glass fires are encouraged to submit applications as Napa Valley Community Foundation (NVCF) announced the deadline of applications for financial assistance until Wednesday, June 30.

Furloughed, laid off, or lost work hours workers are qualified for grants that can amount to up to $1,500. Renters are eligible for grants of up to $3,500 and homeowners for up to $7,500, which can be used to replace property lost in fires, repair items, or restore the property. Receiving prior relief related to COVID-19 does not impact eligibility for this program.

Learn more about eligibility requirements via the application links in English and Spanish. The program is a collaboration between the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund, which is managed by the Napa Valley Community Foundation, and two trusted local nonprofit organizations, On the Move and UpValley Family Centers.

The Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund is managed by Napa Valley Community Foundation and was established with a $10 million lead gift from Napa Valley Vintners following the 2014 South Napa Earthquake. So far, the Fund has distributed almost $26 million and provided 55,000 Napa Valley residents with critical services including medical care, counseling, temporary housing, food, legal aid and help navigating insurance.
