Inspire Napa Valley Raises $450,000 for Alzheimer’s Association

The 3rd annual Inspire Napa Valley Winter Wine & Food Fête on Dec. 11 raised more than $450,000 to benefit the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Hosted by Kerrin Laz, the lunch and tasting event at The Estate Yountville was attended by over 300 guests

The event featured a VIP Lunch with wine poured from Abreu Vineyards, Bryant Estate, Futo Estate, Heimark Vineyard, LAZ Wine, Opus One, Rudd Estate, Screaming Eagle, and Staglin Family Vineyard, followed by a walk-around wine tasting from 34 of California’s most exceptional vintners and winemakers.

“I’m so grateful for the generous support and camaraderie of the Napa Valley community and everyone involved with this year’s Winter Wine and Food Fête,” said Inspire Napa Valley founder Kerrin Laz. “It means so much to me to bring this community together for a cause that is important to me and so many others. While we won’t be able to save my mom from Alzheimer’s, I hope our efforts today will one day save others. And that is why I am more motivated than ever to raise awareness and funds to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.”

The 2022 Inspire Napa Valley three-day wine weekend will take place April 29 through May 1. Since Laz founded it in 2017, Inspire Napa Valley events have raised more than $2.75 million to support the Alzheimer’s Association.
