Allied Council Meetings

I have contacted Gary Sloan, Chairman of the Allied Council at the Veterans Home here in Yountville. He has explained that with the Home being “not fully open to visitors,” he can invite one Council member to the General meeting if fully vaccinated. All fair. The Yountvillian is also asking to be a part of the meetings and conversation so as an opportunity to get information to our readers. The Veterans Home has always been an integral part of this Valley, and The Yountvillian can share that story. I have reached out to Home staff, both locally and at Cal Vet, in the communications department and received no response, so I felt it would be best to go to the primary source of the Vets Home, the veterans who live there and experience life their daily. I look forward to our continued communication with the Allied Council.
