Ag Burns…Next Step?

Since the multiple fires we have experienced throughout Napa Valley, we have become more knowledgeable of our air quality and quality of life. I have been reading many reports lately on wildfires and how the quality of what we are breathing into our bodies is so dangerous. Are the Ag Burns not the same experience, and why are we forced to experience it

Especially since the multiple fires we have experienced throughout Napa Valley, we have become more knowledgeable of our air quality and quality of life. I have been reading many reports lately on wildfires and how the quality of what we are breathing into our bodies is so dangerous. Are the Ag Burn the same experience, and why are we forced to experience it?

This is one of those issues that the public needs to reach out to our local government to see any change. Contact the Napa County Board of Supervisors to give your input on Ag Burns.

Supervisor Brad Wagenknecht also sits on the board of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. You can also reach out to the Agriculture Commissioner, Tracy Cleveland, by email at agcommissioner@countyofnapa.org.

Both Supervisors Dillon and Wagenknecht announced this year that they would not be running in the upcoming election. Yountville Town Mayor John Dunbar announced that he would be running for District 3. With the current campaign, it is an opportunity to be having this discussion.
