Town Council: 3rd and Final Budget Meeting Notes – May 19th

It’s a good final budget meeting when the Town concludes that only 10% of the anticipated amount is needed from reserve funds. For the fiscal year, 2021/2022, only $100,000 will need to be pulled from reserve funds to make up for shortfalls due to the COVID pandemic. The Town will be pulling $50,000 from each of the Revenue Stabilization Fund and the Emergency Reserve Fund. Even with these transfers, the Town of Yountville remains on solid ground will healthy reserve funds and the increase of visitors to Yountville. During this meeting, the council reviewed water funds, wastewater funds, special revenue funds, capital projects funds, equipment repair and replacement funds, and the Fiscal Policy.

Be sure to read our in-depth articles that further explain water and wastewater in Yountville and get an even better understanding of these enterprise funds.
