Last week, local creative writers joined forces with Napa County Poet Laureate Maryann Lyon to poetically illustrate their appreciation for a sector of the population that never gets enough credit — teachers. Between virtual schooling and constant legislation changes to education, the pandemic has taught us that teaching is no easy feat.
