As many of you know, the Arts Commission has been working very hard over this past year. Below are some details from Vice Chair Kim Cook on their success.
During 2020/21, the Art Walk in Yountville sold over $110,000 worth of sculptures, right off our sidewalks, to visitors to the Town. With the direct sales of sculptures to buyers, we understand the valuable importance of what Art can bring to the soul and home. With the small commission that we take to manage the sales, we directly support our artists and continue to create wonderful long-term relationships with them. Art has become an expected experience of a visit to Yountville, just as food and wine. We have interested buyers that know to visit and “Shop Our Art Walk” when they need inspiration in their home or garden. With an ever-changing collection of sculptures, each visit to Yountville is a new experience.
