Jessup Cellars is supporting small local businesses by offering its side cottage as a pop-up location during Yountville Local’s Day. Town residents that want to have a pop-up for their home business or ‘side-gig’ are welcome to contact Frederick Boelen to be included in this unique opportunity! Typically set up for members-only barrel tastings, The Cottage is to the right of Jessup Cellars’ main Art Gallery and has a door on Washington Street. It includes a porch and a 150sq/ft room that businesses will be able to settle into from 2 pm to 6 pm on Thursday afternoons.
Pop-up businesses will need to have a Home Occupation Permit and/or a Town Business License to be eligible. Retail sales from the pop-up location shall pay Yountville sales tax. If you’re unsure about these, ask Frederick or the Town, as they are very easy to obtain. The anticipated start date will be the week after Yountville Days: Thursday, October 7th
