Real Retail in Yountville?

Cornerstone Cellars submitted a Use Permit application to locate a tasting room in a portion of the JCB Senses building that is currently permitted for retail use. The plans indicate that about one-third of the total first-floor area on the south side will be reserved for unidentified retail use. Interestingly enough, Cornerstone Cellars use to have a tasting room in the complex but not at this location. Tasting rooms in Yountville must have a retail component to their use but a retail space does not guarantee a tasting room, nor does prior business in Town. This is a prime location on the main business section of Town, business diversity should be a key discussion in this community for 2021.
