Parking Limited: Updates for Washington Street Rehabilitation Timeline

We’re basically there — just a few remaining tasks to complete the Washington Street Rehabilitation project.

The final thermoplastic striping for the project was previously delayed due to rain and poor weather. The forecast for next week projects sequential days of sunshine and no rain which will allow the Contractor to place the striping. This work includes the crosswalk, stop bar striping, and the markings for the parking stalls on Washington Street. The Contractor will have a moving traffic control system, with signs and flaggers, that will move with the equipment and workers. Parking will be restricted during these days. The updated project schedule is as follows and is subject to change if we receive any rain on the days shown:

Please be alert and follow traffic control signs and devices that will be in place during this time.  Using your turn signals will greatly assist the contractor with traffic control. The Town of Yountville and the Contractor appreciate your patience and respect of the traffic control during this time.

Questions may be directed to the Town’s Public Works Department at 707-944-8851.
