Nothing but bad news when it comes to reading about water levels in California and again another drought. State water officials are forecasting the need for conversation and drought mitigation measures. Napa County is in an area shown as in severe drought as we only received about 45% of normal rainfall this year.
The Veterans Home sent official notice that they are not guaranteeing that they can deliver our 500 acre-feet allotment and requesting us to reduce water purchases by 20% to 400-acre feet for the next fiscal year, starting July 1, 2021.
