Yountville Community Park has a brand new restroom! This new bathroom, located on the North of the park, adjacent to the playground, boasts its brand-new bathroom facility- facing the playground for easier access, two gender-neutral bathrooms and changing tables for families, and two water bottle filling stations outside the restroom.
The total funding for the said project came from the State of California Parks Department. The whole building was manufactured at a factory and then sent to the construction site, where it was craned into position. Reconfiguring the parking lot’s entrance to remedy a stormwater runoff problem was the primary reason for the new concrete flatwork surrounding the building. When there are activities in the park, the toilet contains electrical plugs that may be utilized to provide electricity. The restroom has an automatic timer set to lock the doors in the evenings within an hour
from sunset.
