California is finally stepping beyond the Blueprint for a Safer Economy. Governor Newsom made announcements this past week to officially retire the Blueprint as of TODAY, June 15th. There will be no more tier system. With 47% of the population fully vaccinated, the Public Health Official released an order last Friday with the new guidelines going forward for individuals, businesses, and events. The order also includes new Face Covering Guidelines.
Going forward, vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks indoors or outdoors, minus a few exceptions. All unvaccinated people are still required to wear face masks indoors, and outdoors in certain settings. Businesses can open and operate fully as before, with the only restrictions applying to “mega-events”.
