Town Budgets – Reserves
Did you know the Town has eight reserve funds to weather the storm of a major issue affecting its revenue? In the current fiscal year, the Town has not had to draw on its reserve for COVID-related issues, and the reserves are in place for if/when it needs to. If need be, it can draw on reserves, including Budget Contingency, Unassigned Fund Balance, Legal Contingency, Revenue Stabilization, Emergency Reserve, Drought Contingency, Leave Buy-Out, and Reserves to purchase the Yountville Elementary School property. These funds will definitely be a part of the upcoming budget meetings, May 5 & May 19.
