The County has announced opportunities for boosters and vaccines in line with the expanded- eligibility for COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.
This includes free vaccines, regardless of insurance status on the following sites:
- Those interested in scheduling a down-valley appointment can contact Ole Health for a Tuesday clinic from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ole’s current priority are the first and second doses of vaccines for children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, as well as booster vaccinations for the broader public.
- Up-valley options include the Saint Helena Hospital Foundation’s rotating clinics, which are typically open from mid-morning until mid-afternoon. The clinics are accessible to anybody aged 12 or older without an appointment on December 3 in St. Helena and on December 10 in Calistoga.
- Local pharmacies are offering additional time-specific opportunities for customers who prefer days or hours other than those listed above.
According to the FDA, everyone 18 years or older who had a Pfizer or Moderna vaccination is eligible for a booster dose six months or more after their original series.
Booster injections are also indicated for patients who received the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine and were immunized two or more months ago.
Individuals who are eligible may select which vaccine they would like to receive as a booster dose.
