The Kiwanis Club Board met last week and decided to pivot this year’s Crab Feed Fundraiser to a To-Go Event on January 22, 2022. The reason comes as no surprise — The decision was made in the best interest of guests and our volunteers and is the most responsible decision with the rise in COVID19 cases.
Kiwanis Club is still dedicated to providing a high-quality fundraiser as they rely on the money raised to continue our support of local student scholarships and all of the programs and services we contribute to.
Here’s what you can expect for this year’s Crab Feed event:
Like last year, you are invited to participate in the To-Go option and party with your close crew at home. Meals will be packaged to go and only require minimal heating up at home. Each to-go package will contain pasta, sauce, salad, dressing, parmesan cheese, cocktail sauce, butter, bread, wine, and of course, crab. Pick-up will occur between 2 – 4 pm on event day (1/22/22) at the Community Center. Local deliveries will also be available.
