Napa County Public Works now expects a section of the Silverado Trail to be blocked for three weeks in the wake of storm-related washout.
“Efforts are underway to reopen this section of Silverado Trail as soon as possible,” county officials said. “The County expects repair work will begin as early as Friday and anticipates that Silverado Trail will be reopened within the next three weeks.”
Traffic control measures are already implemented, such as assigning detours for northbound drivers to Zinfandel Lane to reach northbound SR-29. At the same time, southbound Silverado Trail motorists should use Deer Park Road to reach southbound SR-29. The City of St. Helena requested the public reduce their travels near this area until repairs are complete.
