Paving/Washington Park

The Public Works Department, Town Manager, and Town Attorney office have been focused on the Always Paving contract cancellation. They are making good progress with the surety and have a qualified contractor they are working with to finalize the contract and craft a settlement agreement with Always Paving. If all goes well with finalizing these agreements, they expect to see paving next week. Several houses in Washington Park received wooden ramps/transition boards to their driveways as a temporary fix until the street gets paved.

Art/Sip/Stroll Starts Now

Art, Sip and Stroll Tasting Packages are on sale. 600 packages will be paired with a timed appointment for guests to check in to one of two Tasting Pavilions for a 50-minute reservation. At Veterans Park, the Arts Commission will install a floor and tent over the Volleyball Court to house the Tasting Pavilion. At the Community Center, the tastings will occur in the Generations Room. This event is a free event except for opting to purchase the tasting package.
