Sam Chapman’s “Flowers From Monet’s Garden” Exhibit

January 13 @ 9:00 am - April 14 @ 4:00 pm PST

The Gallery at The Community Center will be showcasing Sam Chapman’s new exhibit, “Flowers from Monet’s Garden,” beginning January 13.

The local artist will showcase his latest one-of-a-kind art pieces that represent each painting from Monet’s Garden. He will be exhibiting his artwork at the Gallery, Yountville Community Center, starting on January 13 to April 13 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, and first-day reception on January 13 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

The coming show will feature the best of Chapman’s recent paintings, customized with splashes of color and unique details. These art pieces have been inspired by photographs taken on one of the artist’s visits to the different areas at Giverny, France, where Claude Monet lived and worked for many years of his life.

This Napa resident artist was previously a reporter/editor for the Napa Register. After law school at UC Berkeley, he returned to Napa and served two years as Napa County Supervisor. After decades, he returned to media and community relations at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab as Chief of Staff for the US House and Senate. His artistic approach is influenced by his experiences and perspective on the world as “full of human connections and surprises.”

If you love the natural beauty of flowers and enjoy art, you should check out Chapman’s latest exhibit for a unique mix of art and landscape. You can also follow the Yountville Arts for more art events and updates happening in the area!
